Laptop screen damage:(

Luckily touch works, and there's no issues but does anyone know what I can to fill up the gap?. Should I get a glass screen protector or should I use gorilla tape to seal it?.

lay the screen flat and fill it with clear 2 part epoxy glue

Cheers is that safe though?, scared of it going inside the screen?.

 

Can I ask would the screen get worst and spread since structure integrity is compromised?

Most expoxies aren't conductive so even if it gets inside you should be fine.

On a phone that might be a concern, but unless you move your monitor a lot you should be fine

are shards of glass safe? turn the machine off before gluing it and turn it on only after it dries.

Yeah. it's a pane of glass. the only correct way to fix it is replace the screen

Anything you do to "repair" it is going to make it harder or impossible to fix down the line. Replace the screen or live with it. Yes it will chip and continue to crack over time.
