This might not be related to windows itself but i dont know.

I am using a logitech G633 gaming headset (ive been using this for the past couple of years) and starting a few months ago something weird starting happening.

Every now and then (more and more often nowdays), i hear a pop in my headset after which my mic cuts off. Simply stops working.

I have to unplug my headset  and plug it in again to make it work.

I have noticed this behavior a while back after purchasing an APC ups. It would sometimes click (like its switching on for a fraction of a second) and at the same time i would hear a pop in my headset, after which my mic cuts off.

Nowdays however, it happens even without the ups doing anything as far as i can tell ...

Whats happening?

Intel i7 4970

RTX 2080 Zotac AMP Extreme

16 GB DDR3

750W PSU from EVGA

ASUS Maximus Ranger VII

Windows 10 Pro x64

It might be that cable have some bad connection, it's usually connector or cable part close to connector. Cables worn with time, cables are made out of many small cooper strings and with use they break. Try if you can repeat the problem by moving cable.

I have already replaced the cable not too long ago. This is pretty much a brand new cable.
