Hey folks,

First of all, while I'm a huge tech-head, I love a PC that's a 'set-it-and-forget-it' kinda thing.

Just put a new rig together anyway because my old one died of death.

It consists of a 3900X and a 2080ti seated on an ASUS ROG STRIX F-Gaming X570 motherboard.

I booted the machine up today and the display didn't come on immediately. The machine then gave me a post code [long-short-short-short] and booted into Windows normally. From there, I came straight here. Task manager still shows all CPU cores, 32GB DDR4, all my drives and the GPU looks to be fine (haven't booted up any games or anything yet though).

Anything I need to worry about?

I have since reset the PC and it didn't give me the post code this time. Just a single, short, sharp beep like normal and before you know it I am up and running again.

accordng to ASUS one long and three short beeps means a power anomaly in the GPU. make sure the connectors are seated fully and the card is firmly pressed into the PCIe slot.
