Hello, a random issue just appeared with my ram. I noticed some lag when I was playing a game so I checked my ram and only 8 out 16 gbs where detected so only one ram. I took them both out and put them back in. Now they are both detectable and my system shows 16 gb but it says that only the 8 gbs can be used. Didn't have this issue before. I have already checked if Windows have limited my max memory usage but the box is Unchecked. Any suggestions?

It's possible that one of the slots you're using is damaged. Not enough to not detect the RAM but enough to not be able to use it.

It happened to my last motherboard and that was the exact symptom.

Try re-seating your RAM and see if it makes a difference.

Ok I'll try that. But now I have a new problem. I tried to config my ram and now the error bad config settings is appearing. Fml
