Ram/memory help

I have an MSI b450m gaming plus and I was planning on getting better ram. At the moment I have Corsair vengeance LPX 32gb 2666mhz ram and I was planning on getting something around 3400mhz. I say 3400mhz because from my research I found that my motherboard can only go up to 3400mhz. Sadly, the only store that’s available to me only carries 3200 or 3600 MHz. Does anyone know if I were to get the 3600mhz ram that XMP will just put it to the maximum available? Or should I stay safe and go for the 3200?
