Model D "Disconnected?"

Hello all, 

I've recently acquired the Model D gaming mouse from pcgamingrace.com, and when I downloaded the Software for it, a black screen came up and it said "Device is Disconnected" even though my mouse was connected. I'm on a 2012 Macbook Pro but ran the software through Winebottler. Any ideas as to why this is happening?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Thanks,

Its a software problem from them, had the same issue with my model O
