I currently have a gtx 1080 and a ryzen 2600x. My friend is building a gaming pc and offered to buy them all off me so he can get it a bit cheaper. So I would like to upgrade. I play on 1080p 144hz but in 2 months I'll probs upgrade to 1440p 144hz. I already own everything in this build other then the cpu/gpu/mobo. My budget is around 2300 aud.

Any opinions would be great thanks.

Hang on, you said your budget is 2300 AUD but it shows on pcpartpicker than your build is close to 2300USD which in turn becomes 4555.63 AUD for Australian stores.

Regardless, here is my suggestion:

Specs: Motherboard: Asus X470-PLUS TUF gaming (Yes I know it's poor but I wasn't informed) RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX DDR4 3200Mhz CL16-18-18-36 2x8GB

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X          Case: Antec P8     PSU: Corsair RM850x                        Cooler: Antec K240 with two Noctura Industrial PPC 3000 PWM

Drives: Samsung 970 EVO plus 250GB, Micron 1100 2TB, Seagate ST4000DM000/1F2168 GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 ti Black edition
