I’m building a pc and my estimated wattage is 660w. But I’m unsure on what wattage to get and the efficiency. I’ve been looking at seasonic prime-tx 1000w titanium. But it’s been sold out for a good while.

CPU: Intel i9 9900k 

Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix 

Cooler: Corsair H115 
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32Gb

SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB

Video Card: EVGA 2080 ti ftw3 Ultra 

Case: Cooler Master Masterbox K500

What are your specs? Online wattage calculators usually say you need a higher wattage than you actually do.

I will just list everything:

Get a 650w powersupply. Somrthing like a Bitfenix whisper M 

 

The Prime-tx isnt worth the money, if you are gonna spend that much, then there a better offerings to get.

If this is gaming PC this is an overestimation, you'll be good with 650W PSU, if this is workstation PC (rendering and such) then get 750\850W one. 1kW PSU is overkill.

It is for both really I’ll be in college for computer science which will make this very useful for me as well as gaming and I might get into streaming as well. So I will look towards the 850w route. Thanks
