Case fan question

Looking to add some extra fans to my upcoming build, but it'll be my first build.  I'm not sure how to plug in all the different fans (adding two 120s to top of case, repalcing rear 120).  I will have an AIO, which I'm also not sure about what to do with those fans.  Just kinda confused about case fans in general.  I've tried googling some case fan videos and stuff but not much is helping me get it. 

 

What I know:

- There are mobo "headers" (not sure if that's the right word) for different kinds of fans, but no idea what these mean and what gets plugged into where

- I understand fan sizes, and I see there are 'fan controllers' but do i Need one?

- How do you use something like cpu/gpu temperature, or other temperature to determine fan speed

 

any help, advice, or direction to good links is greatly appreciated

what case and what aio do you have or consider buying? what fans?

The fans in the aio goes to "cpu fan" and the pump from aio goers to "aip pump" (the manual will tell you)

the fans you are getting go to "sys fan"

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Fractal Design Meshify C is the case I want to use.  I would like to use Noctua fans because I don't really want any RGB (plus its hot where I live so I want some that work well)
Not locked in to any AIO but had been looking at some of the Corsair ones

Very good case. your case fits 240/280mm aio at the top. and 2x and 1x more fans at the bottom and front.

Perfect fans for me.  I had thought about using the top for the AIO.  Thanks for the suggestion
