Hi! I am using a ryzen 5 3600 3.6ghz on a gigabyte aorus b450 pro mobo and a gigabyte gtx 1060 g1 gaming 6gb ddr5 and i wanted to know if my gpu is too low for the cpu and makes a bottleneck. Also i was thinking about to OC the CPU and take it to 4.2ghz and i wanna know if that would make a difference considering my GPU and if its worth it making that OC. Or upgrade my GPU to a RTX 2060 and then OC the cpu? I just wanna know your opinions about this and what should i do. Thank you!

depends on the games,

but run games look at your utilization, if GPU is 100% all the time you know where the bottleneck is.

i would suspect it to be the weakpoint since the CPU is at great value, usually the GPU handles most of the gaming stuff so its a natural bottleneck.

iam still running a sandy brigde CPU :)

For example in Forza Horizon 4 i have 100fps average fps all on ultra settings on 1080p res ... The thing is that in the task manager performance graph it shows me that the GPU is at 15% utilization and my CPU is somewhere at 45% .... In HWMonitor it says that GPU is at 100% utilization and the CPU at 50-55%

First of all task manager isn't always 100% accurate 2nd of all the 1060 shouldn't bottle neck the cpu the 3600 is a pretty nice combo with the 1060 plus from my und Forza horizon isn't a cpu heavy game so try a game where it can stress both cpu and GPU like gta v if you have it
