Minecraft RTX, CPU

I’m planning on getting Minecraft RTX when it come out. Making my first computer for it and I plan to have an RTX 2080 Ti graphics card. Does the CPU matter for this? If so which CPU would work best with a RTX 2080 Ti. Mine main game I plan to run would be Minecraft with RTX. Although I do also plan to try and do some VR later down the road. Please give me some feedback and options!

for minecraft is very cpu and gpu heavy so i would recommend if your building a new rig a Intel® Core™ i9-10900K Processor it has 10 cores and 20 threads and you can max boost to 3.50 GHz

A ryzen 3600 will be plenty. No need to go to a 10 core. I played minecraft just fine even with an ass ton of mods. RTX is more GPU heavy, but still not bad. Probably get away with a GTX 2060 or gtx 2070. 


Also, minecraft is not really multithreaded all that well unless it is bedrock edition. Even then, I know of no game that will use all 12 threads of a 3600.
