Hello!

Recently, my GTX 760 2GB was unable to work during black screens when installing drivers

I tried flashing the vbios using nvflash64, everything OK, said that the update is successfully... After I enabled the card again, and restarting, major artifacts started to show on screen...

And is doing this only when using the GTX 760

When using the on-board graphics, everything is fine

Flashing vbios could be very dangerous did you make sure you did the right thing step for step

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Yes, I did...

I flashed another vBIOS

And now no more artifacts

Just the same old problem

When I try to install the drivers, my screen turns black for about a minute, and then the pc restarts

The artifacts were gone

But now I have the old problem... I can't install nvidia drivers... Because the screen turns black, remains the same for a minute, then the pc restarts itself

Try maybe clearing the cmos see if that works

Done this, same result

I mean technically not being able to install drivers would indicate bad firmware but that's not the case here so I'm really trying to think as to why this is happening

But like just letting you know

That your not really losing performance by not getting the newest drivers I installed the newest drivers to my nvidea GPU and my fps in csgo went from like 160ish at highest to 165ish so it's really modest and Minecraft hates new drivers for some reason I play Minecraft when I don't have anything to do ( I'm not a child I swear lmao ) but I used to get 350ish 400 and it dropped dowb to 260 when I got the new drivers so I can't really do anything about that but don't worry drivers only bring a modest performance gain

The problem is that I don't have any nvidia drivers, so this problem is not when trying to update

I got this card last week and it worked fine until today, when I got a black screen after booting

I really don't know at this point I'm so sorry I'll try maybe see what can cause this issue but right now I'm out of ideas I'm so sorry

I will try flashing different vBIOS until the problem is resolved

Alright try to see if that helps since this is really the only thing left at this point

I flashed every vbios for my specific model... Didn't work... I will try to flash a different 760 bios to see if it works... I don't have anything to lose anyway
