Possible GPU causing BSODs? (7990)

Hi, i've been getting BSODs for quite awhile and now suspect that my GPU could be the cause.
My motherboard had been bricked beyond repair due to a crash and i've just replaced it.

I'm getting a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION message on the crash screen.
Sometimes it crashes at games, and most recently I crashed out of nowhere just watching a youtube video. (happened 2-3 times already)

What are your thoughts?
I'm running on triple monitors.

I would repair the OS install and undo the CPU's overclock and see what happens. As for repairing the OS, you will need Windows OS media which is the same as your version (Windows 8 for Windows 8, 7 for 7, etc.) Also, uninstall and reinstall drivers.

Do you have another GPU you can throw in your system for a little bit? Or if you can, run the PC on integrated graphics for a good 24 hours or so, while doing everything you usually do on your PC, and see if it Blue Screens again.

Do you have any Overclocks set? Not factory overclocks, only overclocks that you setup yourself.

I know unstable overclocks can cause Blue Screens. My i7 3770K is not a good overclocker at all, I can only overclock it to about 3.8Ghz - 3.9Ghz, and higher then that, and once I run a CPU Stress Test, I would get a blue screen every time. But it would only happen when the CPU has to go to work. It wouldn't blue screen with an unstable overclock if the CPU is idle, or is doing just a little bit of work.

Sadly i dont have any other gpus to throw in but i'll give the onboard graphics a shot and update on the results.

No overclocks have been done since I replaced my motherboard.

I can easily get up to 4.5GHz on my 4770k but I doubt the cpu will be the cause. All i'm doing was running youtube on google chrome..

Will update tomorrow.

Ok cool, I would take out the GPU from your computer for the time being, just to know for sure if its the GPU or not. Its up to you though.

Is the new motherboard the exact same model as the one that bricked?

If not, did you do a clean Windows install with the new motherboard?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

It's the exact same one and no I didn't do a reinstall.

I've let it run normally without the GPU and i've not gotten any errors so far. Seems like the GPU is faulty :/

Yup, or it could be the PCI-E slot.
