I currently have Vengeance LPX 3200MHZ DDR4 16gb x 2 do you know what motherboard could work for that

It would work in the Mortar MAX or any other AM4 board. Is the Ram part of the £1000 budget ?

I would go with the Gigabyte RX 5700XT Gaming OC for an extra £10.

The 5700XT is better value for money as it is closer to the 2070S in terms of performance in most games. If you want Nvidia then a 2070 Super is usually around £100 more expensive.

The Gigabyte RX 5700XT Gaming OC is what I would go with, and that is £389.97.

I would do something like this if you want ATX.

The MSI B450-A PRO MAX is £30 cheaper, but you get wifi with the Gaming Pro which is always handy to have.

Much better power supply, and the Coolermaster case has better airflow than the corsair. You also get a bigger SSD.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  (£150.51 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£124.80 @ AWD-IT)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (£103.94 @ BT Shop)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB GAMING OC Video Card  (£389.97 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 RGB ATX Mid Tower Case  (£65.31 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Super Flower Leadex III Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  (£89.99 @ Currys PC World)
Total: £924.52
