I'm curios if anyone is having this issue as well and if not, what version of Windows 10 they are on. Both my laptop and desktop have the latest version of Windows 10 version 1909 build 18363.815. Both computers have the same issue. In file explorer, when I open up a folder with pictures and other folders inside:

1) I conduct a search for ".png" file extension and get results. Say the current folder has 2k total images and many other subfolders. Well the search result pulls up both png images in the current folder and subfolders. This is fine BUT.....

2) When I then tell explorer to only search in the current folder (not subfolders), nothing changes. It still shows subfolder results. Even refreshing the search doesn't fix it. Anyone else?
