Nepton 240M compatibility

I have a z97-p motherboard with i5-4690k and Nepton 240m liquid cooler. I want to upgrade my pc wih ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING and i7-9700KF. Will the Nepton 240M be compatible with the new motherboard, because on the box it says CPU Socket Intel LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1150 / 775?

It will be okay but I wouldn't be using 7 year old aio with a new build, also your upgrade is horrible value for money, would suggest to reconsider it.

I believe LGA 115x (replace any number for X) are the same spacing and so it should be fine.

Why not, it works great. I haven't got any problem with the cooler so far. And why would I reconsider my new build?

afaik when aio dies you only find out when it's leaking all over, it might just be me though, just wouldn't use it if it was me. As I said, terrible value imo, with AMD Ryzen your upgrade path is good at least, with Intel it's just shit. You can get much better value for money without loosing much performance. Ask others on the forum to evaluate your build, I'm sure they will tell you the same exact thing. Consider something like Ryzen 7 3700X, The i7 performs better today but with only 8 threads I question for how long vs the 16 threads of the 3700x. You are not loosing that much to begin with,but you are gaining more threads that will surely benefit you in the future.
