Processor Upgrade

Hi everyone

 

So I recently switch out my Ryzen 2600x for a 3800x.  I am using a ROG Strix X570-F Motherboard. Now my ryzen 3800X is locked at 4ghz.  It will not go up it will not go down.  I reset the bios.  Even Did a clean start on windows.  Is this normal? seems a little odd too me.  Please help me out if you can! Thanks!

You may need a BIOS update on the motherboard, what version is the BIOS currently at on your Asus ROG Strix X570-F?

I did that as well, I am running 2401.  So I am guessing it is not normal to just stay at a sold Ghz?
