Vram?

Go to solution Solved by skullbringer,

both cards' memory stores the same data. there is no difference to where a monitor is connected

Vram is used in all of the cards.

Example 1: you have 2 2Gb cards: you get total of 2Gb of Vram, because you cant stack Vram because both cards need to use it.

Example 2: you have one 2Gb card and one 4Gb card: you get total of 2Gb of Vram, because both card always use same amount of Vram so you cant fill more than 2Gb

I thought Vram didn't stack with multiple cards?

It doesn't. All cards must have the same data stored across  VRAM.

In any given SLI array the memory of each card must mirror the master card, if the memory of card one contains (1+2+3) then the second slave card's memory must contain (1+2+3) as well.

Error: 410
