HDMI Switch help

I just bought a HDMI switch after getting a Raspberry Pi so I can switch between it and my computer. But, now whenever I switch to my computer it seems to auto scale to a really high scale, then back to a normal scale. This would be fine if it didn't misplace all my apps. Any ideas?
