I'm tasked with making a few editing rigs for my school for under $700, I've decide to make a rocket on a tricycle (660 TI) since its going to be used with CS6. I have settled on the CX430m PSU from corsair. but the problem is,... it comes with 1 PCI-E 6 pins connector the GPU recuires 2.

Where can i buy a male to male 6pin pci-e connector to solve this issue.

Don't worry about the 660ti taking up too much power. on full loda the system will draw 79% and since it's for the school, we won't be overclocking.

I will not use one of the two sata connection cables so i will have room for the 2nd 6pin.

Thanks in advance.

~Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum,.. i'm not sure where psu cabling is supposed to go.

How about the Seasonic 430W? It has two 6 pin PCIE connectors. Otherwise, the video cards themselves should come with some dual 4 pin to 6 pin adapter cables. CUDA for CS is still somewhat buggy, and most jobs still require the CPU to render. A 650Ti Boost (or something significantly slower) may be a better option and will give you more budget for RAM,  SSD scratch disk, or faster CPU for render jobs.

You're right, it does come with the necessary connectors. My bad.

BUt could you link me to the seasonic one? It might be a better deal than the CXM

The Seasonic S12II is what I was suggesting, and what I use in my HTPC. It seems like it's been updated and now has a 6+2 and 6 pin connectors <:

Linking isn't really going to work for me as I'm in Australia and our markets vary, but that's the model I am on about.
