Ram upgrade

 I have a prebuilt computer that i tossed a graphics card in but i want to upgrade the ram but i dont know if i have to have ram from a prebuilt or i can use any ram

You can use any ram that fits technically. What ram does your mobo use? DDR3? DDR4? Is there enough space beside your cooler?

 

For almost all applications these are basically the only things you need to know.

So even though its a hp prebuilt any ddr2 ram that physically fits will work

Sorry for the late response. If your system is using ddr2, then I see no reason why any "normal" ddr2 dimms wouldn't work.
