Recently, I get distorted colored lines on my display on different applications. It started happening when I installed the latest windows update and the latest graphics driver. I got screenshots from when I was using YouTube and Visual Studio Code. Here are the screenshots:

I am using a Dell G7 7588 with the following specs:

  • Intel i7-8750H
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 256 GB NVME M.2 SSD

I currently have Windows 10 Home version 1909 64 bit and Dell BIOS version 1.10. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing the problem?

Any time I've seen this before, the GPU had hardware issues.

It could be driver issue though since you just installed a new version - you could try uninstalling it in safe mode with DDU, then reinstalling the previous drivers version to see if the issue persists.

Almost as cool as my temps
