Creative Soundcard issues

My on board soundcard is acting up, I can only get sound to my headphones when I use(in the creative software) 5.1 surround / 2 speakers NOT headphones. How do I fix this?
I'm using the gigabyte sniper 3 motherboard, Creative CA0132 chip.

Does it matter? In my experience using headphones preset makes audio bit worse than using speaker preset. Even with headphones. Anyway, that is driver/software issue. So reinstall drivers/software. Remember that card can't tell whether you are using headphones or speakers.

I don't know, some times the sound just buggs out(might be that or might not no idea).. It happens when I play games and tabb-out, not 100% of the times though, also my mic tend to make some buzzing sounds when playing games(could that be cos my gpu is intefering with my onboard soundcard?)

To be honest those problems can be caused by so many other things than just soundcard. You should try to reinstall software/driver for it just in case. For mic problem try switching between front panel and I/O. It might be just broken jack. I haven't heard of onboard effecting to mic that way. Sound bugging while tabbing is also most likely driver issue.

Have you considered a sound card? I haven't used onboard sound in years and it is glorious.
