Which GPU

Yeet_The_Kiddies

I am on an adventure of trying to upgrade my old pc, (hp pro 3500) and was wondering which one I should get without it bottle necking. I also wanted to check if the PSU would supply it enough.

The Pc has an i5 3470, hp's custom mobo, and a crappy 300w psu.

Would I and should i get a 1050 ti (mini), rx 570 armor or an rx 580

What do you mean by "No PCIe power"?

No additional six or eight pin connectors as your power supply doesn't have those and can't supply 150 or 225W to the card that such a connector would imply

If you're changing the power supply, get a good one, note a fire cracker like that. Say a Corsair CX550 or Be Quiet System Power Bronze or a SeaSonic S12III

The issue is the size Which ironically, is what my gf said   Which I think is something like 140x150x90

It'll be a gamble because it isn't a "name brand" but it should work if it does what's advertised.

The 580 is faster and better in almost every way but power.  I think it sucks 200 watts.  So it would truly test the generic power supply you are using.

Which one lol idk if they'll even fit in the pc.

I would not recommend those power supplies until you've measured the length of you cable runs.  The cords on the SF450 and sf550 power supplies are especially short.  You may end up paying more in cable extensions than it costs for your generic PSU.  Just measure your cable runs before you buy.

An EVGA 500W1 is a "name-brand" which should be ok, meets your power and space requirements and is under $50 in the US.  UNfortunately, I think they are sold out in UK.

That being said, I would likely just go with the generic cheap power supply as long as there is a return policy if were stuck at your price point.
