Built a new rig couple of weeks ago

os: windows 8 64

ram:16 gb/ four 4gb ram kingston sticks/ KHX2400C11D3/4GX

motherboard: asus x79 sabertooth

cpu: 4930k i7 intel

gpu: 780ti reference card/ asus

psu watage: 1000w

ssd: samgsung 750gb

At first only 3 sticks were detected, so to troubleshoot I turned my machine off and unplugged it and swapped the stick it was not detecting with one next to it. After swapping booth sticks, both of them were not being detected. So I swapped them again to its original position and still both are undetected.

so what can I try now?

Remove points of failure, find out which sticks of RAM are working, do one stick in a slot to see if it is a bad slot, then when you find a good slot, put one stick at a time to see if they all work. If it is the RAM slot, you will have to RMA your motherboard, if it is your RAM, then you will have to RMA the entire kit.
