Issues with Windows 10 Activation

Joe_MacDougall

I recently changed my motherboard and boot drive and it's now saying I need to reactivate windows. I made 100% sure that my version of windows 10 was tied to my microsoft account and now that I am trying to activate it, it says that the servers for activation can't be reached. Could the servers possibly be down? I've tried multiple times to activate and keep getting the same prompt. Please help ;-;

You need to wait and then it will work. Their servers are not working

Thank you. I just wanted to make sure that was the issue. I formatted my old HDD boot drive and cloned it to my new SSD so I thought I was screwed :|

I do still have the old mobo tho but I'd rather not have to throw that old potato back together.
