Hey, I am a tech and pc enthusiast (and also the guy who fixes the family and friends pc (both hw and sw) and I'm LF suggestions about what I should always have with me when travelling (or attending my tech university, friend houses, whatever) in my backpack (a medium size basic backpack).

So far I carry:

- a cheaper version of an ifixit kit

- a flash drive (with a bunch of portable programs and some repair tools)

- a USB a to c converter (mostly used for my phone lol)

- a guitar pick (for opening things)

- a Swizz knife

Gonna buy an usb hub, an USB to rj45 lan card because some of my friends own devices without Ethernet ports...figured I may need it and maybe a card reader dongle...

What do you carry around?

I always carry a USB-C Power Delivery charger and a 4-inch USB-C to Micro B adapter (as well as a Type C cable, obviously). That way I can charge basically anything. I like the 30W one from Anker that has both the Type C with PD and a Type A port. I also like having the C to Micro B because I can charge my headset from my phone and that's priceless.

Damn, even I don't carry an iFixit-type kit. You go hard.
