Hi everyone,

yesterday I left my computer for a few hours and when I came back, I no longer had video output. The computer was still turned on, happily humming, but the monitor was sleeping due to lack of input.

Here's what I've done so far:

 - remove VGA and try to work with onboard graphics

 - check whether the monitors broken (it is not, works just fine with my laptop)

 - clear CMOS (including removing the battery, then shorting the jumpers, waiting for 20 mins, popping it back in)

 - removed everything not strictly necessary to post (so only motherboard, PSU and CPU remaining, not even RAM)

all to no avail.

My system is

MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon

Intel i5-6600K

HyperX 2x8GB DDR4 (not sure about the speed...)

GIGABYTE Radeon R9 390 8GB

Crucial MX100 256GB SSD (boot drive)

Crucial P1 1TB M.2 nvme drive

TS XFX 650W

So far I tried everything from this article (except waiting over night WITHOUT hard drives).

Since I really need to do some work from that computer (my laptop sadly will not do), can you guys help me? Any input would be appreciated.

All the best,

Smile

EDIT: Also maybe I should have put this post into CPU and MoBo, but I was unsure

EDIT #2: The motherboard has no BIOS Codes, only "EZ Debug LEDs", which light up while booting, the CPU one shortly, the DRAM one longer (maybe memory training?), the VGA one does not light up at all, neither with onboard nor with discrete graphics
