Hey!

Just finished my build, went into the bios to set the docp profile for my Hyperx predator 32gb kit. The pc crashed both with 3000mhz and 3200mhz profile.

The error messages i got were: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXEPTION and IRQL not less or EQUAL.

I went ahead and tried the dram calculator but the pc didn't even post, so I had to clear the CMOS.

I don't want any crazy oc, i'd just want the 3200mhz that the ram is rated for to be able to work. Any help appreciated!

2700x can't really run 4 sticks of ram at 3200. try 2933, it should work. make sure dram voltage is 1.35 and maybe also increase SOC voltage to 1.1

Oh shoot, didn't know! Thanks, i'll try.

On another note, do you think ocing the cpu is good or bad on the 2700x? i've read mixed reviews.

it's always good, but with the stock cooler and the asus b450-m pro you won't get too far. best to enable pbo and let it self-overclock.
