Posted April 21, 2020 My Device: -Windows 10 64bit -MSI gv62 7rd -i7-7700hq -GTX 1050 4gb -4gb ddr4 ram at 2400mhz -1tb WD 5400rpm -All drivers are updated I noticed the problem a week ago when i was playing Black Desert Online. While i'm playing i heard this 2 beeps coming from the laptop then it won't be heard again until the next reboot of the laptop. CPU temp while gaming is around 70-80c, GPU temp is stable at 65c. I tried to monitor the processes on the laptop while playing: CPU usage at 40%-50%, GPU at 70-93, RAM at 90%, and DISK was at 0-3. But i noticed that once the disk usage spiked at 100% the game would stutter and will be followed by the beep sound, but once the disk settled again at 0-3% the game returns to normal. I know gaming at 4gb of ram is inadequate nowadays (already ordered 16gbx2) What is the beep sound means? Is it harmful for my system? Is that system related, BIOS etc. I really don't know. Im just really anxious whenever i hear something unusual coming from the laptop. Posted April 21, 2020 Might be something HDD-related, maybe not. Either way you should get around to replacing that with an SSD boot drive.
