I recently overclocked my Ryzen 5 3600 to 4200mHz at 1.375  and tested in Cinebench with no crashes everything looks good, but it shows 3 cores sleep even when testing in Cinebench,  but in my task manager under performance tab it shows all cores working. Is this normal? Please help! Thank you.

If your scores are nominal - you're good. Though with that OC, enabling PBO and using stock auto settings is likely going to be better.

I get better scores with the overclock. Nothing spectacular but better. I apologize I'm a total beginner when it comes to overclocking. When you say stock settings do you mean undoing the overclock settings and  going back to 3600mHz at 1.1375v? While enabling PBO in the bios? Thanks again!

I mean just using PBO and nothign else. It'll boost individual cores higher when needed and keep all cores at nominal clocks when you hit it with an all-core load

I just manually overclocked my CPU in the bios to 4200mhz with 1,37 voltage also enabled PBO mode 2, then ran cinebench it was stable but the 3 of the cores still remain sleep while stressing in CInebench. It just irks me that I have a 6 core cpu and 3 of the cores don't do anything. Again in task manager under performance mode shows them all doing something.

If your scores are normal, it's probably a reporting glitch due to the overclock
