Hello Everyone,

I want to buy a new cpu, mobo and ram and since i am really low on budget i will go with the following

CPU=Ryzen 5 3400G With Vega 11 Graphics

Ram=Gskill Flare X 2400 16GB(8x2) [Since this ram works best with amd cpu's as per tech deals on yt]

Motherboard=(https://www.gigabyte.com/in/Motherboard/B450M-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10#kf) or (https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/TUF-B450M-PRO-GAMING/)

I am confused at which mobo should i buy since i want good audio for music and gaming and asus one has al 1220 codec while gigabyte has al 892

also gigabyte mobo has 6 audio slots whereas asus one has only 3, having more audio slots is better ? how does it help ? what each one represents ?

also which one has better lan connectivity, which one will last longer since both talks about being strong.

I will be waiting for your answer so thank you in advance !

In regards to the audio ports, The three port setup on the ASUS Mobo is for Stereo audio systems (2.0 or 2.1) and Gigabyte is a Surround Sound setup (2.0, 2.1, 5.1, 7.1). In my experience you probably won't notice a quality difference in sound as they are both good quality motherboards. Both motherboards seem to have decent VRM setups and the same or very similar features. Lan Connectivity is the same, they are both gigabit. As for longevity they are built very similar so they will both last a long time provided you don't overclock the life out the CPU.
