Not sure what's happened in the past few days but every time I open Afterburner my computer has huge freeze patches and afterburner keeps not responding and I can't do anything or adjust anything with it. Sometimes freezing my computer completely. I have no OC applied or running, just temp limit and power limit maxed. I have a FE 980ti with the blower so some games i turn the fan up to avoid high temps while playing. There was an Nvidia update from just the other day i finally got to see if that was it and no dice. I have also already tried to un and then reinstall Afterburner.  Anyone ever experience the same issue under the same circumstances?

Alright so i had actually gotten speedfan last night and just have no idea how to use it. All it brings up or shows is my   SSD

Hm... indeed it seems as if your gpu is not beoing detected. I never had an Nvidia card so that might be normal. In any case, speedfan is has not received an update in quiete some time so one might as well ignore it. Have you tried EVGA Precision X? The website states "EVGA card requiered for full version". I am not sure what they mean by that. Maybe give that one a shot

Downloaded the X1 and while it doesn't seem to let me outright change the fan speed, the curve seems to be kicking in and working so thank you! Hopefully this can be a perma-fix until i upgrade.
