2600x overclock

I have a 2600x and runs with great temperatures. I have an asrock b450m pro4 motherboard and am wondering what clock speeds people are able to get at and with what voltage.

i think 4.2 or 4.1 Ghz is possible though that will depend on your cooling solution. additionally i think the max safe voltage for 2000 series is 1.38 (needs confirmation) just try to see what your pc can handle. do a bit more research.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

CURRENT PC SPECS

CPU             Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

My 5 2600 ( non x ) is sitting comfortably at 4.1 Ghz with around 1.31V , under heavy load I get a Vdrop to 1.28V but it's perfectly stable.
Cooler is a DarkRock4 keeping it at 55 to <60°C while gaming and around 37 to mid 40s doing normal stuff. Never tried going for 4.2. Might be possible but you then need an absurd amount of extra Voltage what also means higher temp. Better also tune your Ram.

But yea around 4 - 4.2 Ghz is what you can achieve. What exactly,  depends as mentioned on your cooling/ board and CPU capability.
Max Voltage I'd also say around 1.38. Don't feel comfy that high. :D

Can you go lower with the Voltage?
No other changes made.
Multiplier changed and Core Voltage offset.

Only changed the Voltage for RAM cause i overclocked that too. :)
