So I'm sitting here in my living room about to swap my old Antec 620 PSU from 8 years ago with a new CX 550 psu (making noise). But thinking it may be time to upgrade my current hardware as things are starting to feel their age. (Also if I want to swap all these wires I kinda want a new case).

Currently I am running:
CPU 4590 (not the k version)
MSI Z97 Mate
16 gigs of DDR3 @ 1600
1060 3gig
All inside a Corsair Graphite 600t

I'm running a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor (I don't play modern games on it or higher settings obviously, but damn is it nice for spreadsheets) and some horrible 1080p monitor that basically just has Teamspeak up on it.
I basically only play World of Tanks, Vermintide 2 and X4 foundations. Though being stuck inside I want to play Witcher 3 and maybe some new stuff.

I was debating going the 1600AF and swap it for ryzen 4000 but now leaning towards this:

Not certain about ram choice though if I could get some help on that. I'm aware I wont be able to use that usb c front connector, but that's fine with me. I only use 5 USB devices at most.
I guess I could just keep the old case, but I want more cable management options and a PSU shroud.

Figured I could get back part of the difference between the AF and 3600 by what would almost be selling a full build. Also have a full Q6600 in an old antec 900 case with a GTX 460 I've been meaning to put on craigslist. Could move the 460 over and all the 4590 build would need is a hdd or ssd to be fully functional for someone.

EDIT:
Tl; Dr  Looking for advice on what ram to get and mobo options. Looks like everything can be from amazon with the tomahawk max shipped from best buy.

motherboard is fine. this kit costs much less and will perform about the same due to the higher latency on the kit you picked.

Or for a few bucks more, grab the CL16 3600mhz kit. Best of both worlds!

Well I had a tomahawk max in my bestbuy cart because amazon was out. deleted the cart to check something and turns out they sold out in the past hour. newegg also sold out as well as BH. Guess everyone has the same idea as me.

Edit:
Gonna order the H510 and 3600 from amazon, get the ram there as well (out of stock but will deliver around the 30th). Then as I keep an eye out for the motherboard to get back in stock I can keep my eyes open for a crazy ram deal.

Edit 2:
If I were to craigslist what would be a i5-4590 on a z97 msi mate, 620w bronze+ psu, 16 gigs ddr3 @1600, gtx 460 (just to have a gpu) inside a graphite 600r would $100 be fair to be someones kids minecraft machine? I'm happy to do less, don't want to rip someone off.

So when I started the topic Newegg, BH and bestbuy all had the tomahawk Max. Had one in my cart for best buy that I removed from it. They are now all sold out for 7-10 days.

Just my luck. Amazon wont hat that ram in stock until the 27th anyways. So I'll just pick up the CPU and case now. If the Tomahawk comesup for sale I'll get that and if it's soon get the ram off newegg.
