Not sure what ram to buy. First time builder.

Hello, I am a first time builder who is looking to create a decent budget pc for streaming and gaming. In my system I am planning to have a 1660 super gpu, ryzen 5 3600 cpu and msi b450 gaming pro carbon AC motherboard. Only issue is I don't know what ram to buy and my budget limits me to ram around £80/£90. All of the following cards are around the same price in my country so I am debating over buying;

I don't mind too much about rgb but it would be a nice addition. I also wanted to ask if mystic light would work with either the crucial ballistix rgb or the HyperX fury. Any advice would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.

nothing will break. best case scenario, it will just work. worst case scenario, you'll run your ram at 3466 instead of 3600. still better than 3200. but usually it just works.

Also does the rgb on the crucial ballistix work with MSI's mystic light?

Ram doesn't work like that, its simply the "supported" OC speed.

 

I've got 3600 speed ram running on that motherboard without issue.

Great, so I can just pick up that kit then for my pc. Thanks alot. Just wanted to ask if you know whether the crucial ballistix rgb kit works with msi's mystic light or not?

it should, if it does not then crucial has its own software.

I'm just looking for ram at the moment because I've already found the rest of the components but thanks for the offer
