Hello everyone!

My pc randomly reboots while gaming. Weird thing is, not all games cause reboots.

I could play Rainbow Six Siege or Call of Duty Warzone for hours, I'm talking 5-6 hours and nothing happens. Whenever I play Resident Evil 3, pc reboots after 10-15mins.

Other games like CSGO and Sekiro restart after 30 minutes - 1 hour. I ran memtest for 7-8hr and everything was okay, also ran Furmark for 15mins, everything was fine as well.

Could it be the PSU? Any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks!

My Specs :
Ryzen 5 3600

Asus Strix B450-F Gaming

Corsair Veangence RGB PRO 2x8GB 3200Mhz
Nvidia GTX 1070 FE
Corsair V650 80+ Gold
NZXT x62 AIO

It can be XMP if it is enabled. Try to disable it or look under SPD in your UEFI and compare the timings there to the timings that XMP set for you. My board same as yours didn't enable all my subtimings so I had random reboots too. I would suggest just try to disable it at first and see if the issue remains, if the issue disappears then you can set XMP and look at SPD and set timings manually as they are listed there.

Most them are set to auto, should I set them manually?

Yes, if you have that page open and open the SPD page you can hop back and forth between them with left/right keys. Just set what it says in the SPD page and make sure you set the correct values. I think your woes will go away. 😃

Not sure where the SPD page is. It would be great if you could guide me or post a screenshot, if that's okay with you. Thanks!
