In search of a new monitor

Hey all. In a bit of a pickle here. I currently have this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Gaming-S2716DGR-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B0149QBOF0
 
I am wanting to do one of two things. Either get another one of these monitors to have a dual screen setup, or to get a decent sized ultrawide. I mainly use the monitor for photo editing and gaming, photo editing taking priority.
What's everyone's opinion on what would be the best route?

IMO, you're gonna wanna go ultrawide, and reuse your current monitor as a sidecar. I have this setup and it's amazing for productivity - ~= to 3 monitors but so much easier to use.

The only thing I currently would use a sidecar for would be for Discord, but I use my iPad Pro for that. When editing photos, I only have one window I need to pay attention to at a time. But, that being said, is there an ultrawide you would recommend? I know I will need an IPS display, the higher refresh rate the better (since I will be gaming on it), and 4K.
