Will the i3 2120 bottleneck a GTX 750 ti?

No. She could go up to a 280 (non x) before she would see any serious bottlenecking.

I have a friend that is needing an upgrade to her PC and I was basically wondering would it bottleneck?

PS: the other upgrades she has in mind are 8GB of RAM and another monitor.

No, the 750 ti is pretty powerful, and so is the i3, She would be safe from bottle necking

Ok well she only really plays Minecraft and some indie games so this is probably the only thing she needs she was looking at the £100-150 mark.

Then she will do perfectly fine with it.

An i3 is quite powerful but ive noticed a big bottlneck with my 7870 xt i mean with mantle my fps doubled, thats an 100% increase whereas other people had 10-20% increase.
