NO VGA Boost option

I have a MSI Z87-G45 MB + MSI GTX 770 TF GAMING.

 

Problem:

No VGA boost option in gaming app instead I see only a cooling option that will speed-up the fan to 100% to cool manually after doin some OC.. 

 

As advertised on their website if you have the combo like stated above you will have a vga boost option @ the gaming app..

Vga boost is likely oc mode

VGA Boost option while I only have the cooling option.

VGA boost boosts the GPU to 2.5ghz?

Dont bother about the clock speed (marketing purpose only) just refer to thier website about how vga boost works. Its something about enhancing the gpu..

Ahhh ok. I thought that was an actual screenshot from your PC where the Core Clock was 2.5ghz

My screen shot is on the 1st post.

My 760 ITX app looks exactly the same as your screenshot so I dont know what to tell you except to trying OCing with MSI Afterburner.

Gaming app is the vga boost and those are yur three options. its just an automatic overclocking tool not an literal boost over the standard card. i was fooled too and uninstalled it and just went with my personally done overclock

i google and reach here. my vga is r9-270x msi, h87-g43 gaming motherboard.

 

ya wth. where's the vga boost option? googling doesnt help. if only msi reps can come and read this :(

Just uninstalled last month.. The the new version of gaming app has no more vga boost option instead it its now a separate app. But as said above its just an auto OC app. Better do it with AB.

 

If you still want it then just use the live update app. Coz last time I cant seem to find it on their site, only by Live Update.

i tried using live update but it still didnt show...

 

the first time i installed the computer... the vga boost was there, but i reinstall windows because i cant rmmbr what did i do, maybe just for kicks trying new SSD. and then now i couldnt find it anymore even after reinstalling it the second time.

 

also with AB can you control your core voltage? in mine the AB is blocked out...

I guess modifying the vga bios is the last option but I think its not worth it.

im not sure myself, def. not because its not for my board tho. cuz i checked z87-gd65 and using h87-g43 gaming so that's 0 for 2. okay thank you for uploading it, i'll check it out and get back to you.

 

yah the new ones only have cool down not vga boost haha
