FPS drops

I have a problem where my PC runs all the games, regardless of the settings, on the same FPS, which is usually under 40, and very often drops suddenly even under 20. It wasn't allways like this, it started a few weeks ago. Before that it was running the games at a decent and constant framerate. I installed the newest graphic drivers and everything. Can anyone give me some advice?

CPU: FX-8300
GPU: RX 550 4GB ASUS
RAM: 8GB

What games are you running?

DDU the drivers, clean the heatsinks and fans, make sure all BIOS/firmware/drivers are updated and try again. Disable any background tasks and bloatware.

GTA V (before it was running on 60 fps even on high, now it has the drops even if i put it on low), COD Warzone (its unplayable even on 800x600 low settings).
I played the games in full hd beforehand.
