Hello, 

 

I'm currently trying set up a domain within a forest right now. I've added my forest name which is MSGCON.COM and trying to set up my new domain name as TORCOLLEGIATE.CO. Everytime I try and provide credentials it says " Could not log onto the domain with the specified credential. Supply a valid credential and try again." I'm using the administrator account "msgcon\administrator for the credentials....It's a member of enterprise admins. I've also put the TORSERVER (torcollegiate.com 192.168.9.200) as a conditional forwarder....I haven't had any luck on any of this...I need them to have a two trust as well once it's all said and done with. Is there a reason why I can't even create the domain?

 

Implement a two Forest Active Directory domain structure

Configure DNS Server to provide communication between the two forest domains.

Create Active Directory Sites Trust and Manage replication

Make sure you can ping each DC by the domain name to make sure DNS is correct.
