Would it be okay to put a used GTX 970 with a brand new RTX 2070?  Would I still get the same performance as if I were just running just the 2070?  Would 650 Watts be enough in my PSU to run both my graphics cards and a Ryzen 5 3600? I am asking because I recently just purchased a new RTX 2070 and after purchasing I realized it didn't have a DVI-D port so I can't run 144hz on my main monitor.  My 970 has a DVI-D port, so I was wondering if I could use the GTX 970 to get the 144hz to display on my monitor and get the performance out of my RTX 2070. Lots of questions, I know, but I spent the majority of my money on this and I can't afford to buy a new monitor right now.

eh, i'd go 750W at least, just to keep some more headroom.

i think it works, yes, but you could also just get an DP to DVI adapter.

--> Don't do it unless you want to donate your GTX970 performance to F@H while gaming.

Other card wouldn’t use much power. So should be fine. It would work. Just like it’s intended to.

I was literally just searching for an answer to this (nearly) exact question.

And I'm planning on using my 1660 Super for Folding 100% of the time, and my soon-to-arrive 2080ti for pwning n00bs and proteins.

Thanks for answering the question I didn't even have a chance to ask!
