Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with my system.

I was mix and matching hardware from two systems I have and a gpu laying around to make one giant system for folding at home.

I have two CPUs one being a ryzen 1200 and the other being a ryzen 2700X. I have two motherboards and a b350 Asus and a ASRock b450 both with the latest BIOS updates.

I've tried swapping graphics cards I've tried going down to one graphics card one stick of RAM and just the CPU on both motherboards. I've swapped then back and forth

I have power and fan spins but I cannot get a post screen out of any gpu i swapped the cooler back to stock amd still not getting a image out.

when I turn the system off the LED on my cooler and the fan on my GPU keep spinning untill I unplug the HDMI cable

I'm completely lost at this point

Has anyone ever seen this issue before?

Nick

First try getting a screen without a graphics card installed.   If you can do that, you’ve isolated the problem to the graphics card or drivers.  (With a slim possibility of a motherboard or memory problem.)

Also, graphics cards need the proper monitor profiles.  So, it may be a driver problem with you graphics card.

The ryzen 1200 and 2700x don't support onboard graphics I thought

Yep, you’re right -sorry.

And I just now noticed that you’ve swapped out graphics cards.  And that you didn’t get post.

So, you’re stuck with doing something difficult and annoying.  Install the parts on the motherboard of your other machine because it could be that the motherboard died.  If the parts work on another motherboard, you’ve found your culprit.

Ok so I have officially no clue I've swapped components to the Asus b350 board I have and it's boots the post green led but no display still  with every gpu that i own system was

Asus b350 strix

8gb of trident z rgb in first slot

AMD stock cooler and 2700x

Gpus used we're rx580, GTX 970, GTX 960, GTX 660

all gpus were then tested on my main rig and worked fine I have no clue

Tried both cous as well the 1200 and 2700x both went to green post led

So I'm officially lost

Can you crush anything in a ryzen CPU cause I followed the directions for the noctua cooler itbdid feel right but this all started with the swap to this cooler
