4790k Upgrade

So i know this topic is probably exhausted but i started having ram issues today with my pc but im wondering should i just upgrade all together. currently i have a 4970k, 980ti hybrid, 12gb was 16gb for 1866 corsair vengance ddr3 memory. so in short should i upgrade and if so what to??

i see, thank you. so i got that stick ram working. somehow there was corrosion on the contact pads scraped it all off and cleaned with contact cleaner and all good again. one other question i have a H100i cooler i bought years ago can this be adapted to fit Ryzen
