When i turn on my PC i get a debug code that say:D7, and i found out that the code meant "No Console Input Devices are found" What does this mean? IT always stays on the "MSI' screen where it says f12 for bios, and ask if i want to do something with my bio, or continue. Can somebody please help?

disconnect any USB devices other than mouse/keyboard. is your mouse/keyboard

using a USB-PS2 adapter? disconnect any external USB devices, HDD, sound cards.

use rear i/o for any connectivity, no front panel.

verify your SATA drives connections, especially the optical. if plugged into a SATAIII port

use a SATAII port, instead.

are you also having trouble clearing the CMOS?

Is this debug code displayed on your Motherboard?

Never had anything else plugged in since it's a new board. Did everything you said, and it's still giving me the code. I think i cleared cmos right, because the board wouldn't even start up, or show bios, and now it at least shows the "f12 to go to bios", but now it asks if i want redo the bios, or press f2 to continue as it is, but it does not let me.

USB key board. MSI GD-65 z77a

The thing is that the video card, and motherboard are both refurbs, but they are from the factory, and because of an RMA. I did just get them today. Something that might help solving it is that i think it has something to do with the "multibios switch".

yes, there is a dual bios switch on the GD65. just to the right of the Debug LED is the switch.

flip to opposite side and retry.

I did, and that is what got me in this situation! It prompts me to press f1, or f2. it says something about resetting bios, or continuing, but F2 does not do anything. I also get a code A2.

Also here is something i wrote elsewhere, maybe it will give a better description.

Well to start these are refurbished board from MSI. I Rma'ed my board a month ago, and just received it today. I popped in my moth board, and spent a few hours putting back together my PC, and making sure the connections were right. When i started it up it booted up the " New processor, and memory has been installed", and prompted "f1- continue", or "f2 to go to bios" I pressed f2 to check my bio, and to check my temps for the CPU heatsink, and fan i had just installed along with the motherboard, and everything was fine so i restarted the system, but when loading windows it restarted, and started looping, so i hit the "dual bios switch" on my motherboard, and it prompted something about F1, and F2, but it kept restart, and made it seemed i had to choose fast. When i had a glance at what it said, it read something like " Press f1 to boot new bios, or f2 to continue, and i pressed F1. The computer restarted and start booting, and rebooting rapidly, and by that i mean it would only start for about one second, and did not show anything, but stayed off for a little(like 10 seconds), and would loop. This time i could not even see the bios, or anything, so i rested cmos a few time, and it worked but now i am bakc at the F1 prompt that did that to my system, and the f2 option does not even work. The debug say "d7"

move your USB keyboard to another USB to another USB port, preferably not a blue

one. usually the ones under the green PS2 port are "legacy" and usually are grouped

for a boot/POST use.

or use a PS2 keyboard no adapter
