Hello,

 

Im looking for a new keyboard, after my Asus Claymore Core broke yesterday for the second time in a year.

 

I looking for a keyboard with these specs:

TKL

Aluminum construction

Red switches

RGB is a nice-to-have.

 

(No ducky)

Also, don't limit yourself with only red switches, there are much better linear switches than reds.

Both keyboards I linked come with red switches, are made from aluminum, also TKL, has rgb and are not made by Ducky. Thus answering your request.

Hot-swappable switches are great, cause if you want to switch them out it'll take 10 minutes for the entire keyboard.

The Drop Ctrl is one of the more expensive options though

The Caps Unlocked CU80 R2 is open until the 1st of May. Cheaper than the Ctrl, similar features, but expect it to ship a few months later. It's hot swap, and although you can get Cherry MX Red switches, I recommend you get switches that aren't so crap that they actually bind.
