How much malware would you have on your computer before you would run ComboFix? It is a very aggressive program.

This would be your last resort. But a regular user shouldn't need ComboFix as softwares today like ADWCleaner, SpyBot Search and Destroy, and Malwarebytes takes care of most of the malware. Combofix is a pretty advanced cleaner so you would need to know what you are doing to avoid messing up the OS. But if your computer is badly infected (ie viruses spreaded all around and infected many files on your computer), a reformat would be the fastest and best choice.

ComboFix, boy that thing has helped me sanitize many a system. If you suspect something and your regular anti-virus isn't going squat to detect, run it!
