Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

No, Fasauceome meant that the i3 9100f doesn’t have integrated graphics, it’s not an APU.

Still a rip-off. Like I pointed out, you're being upcharged on almost every part. Plus, the VS is a crappy PSU and there's not really a reason to get a Z series motherboard for an i3.

 

I went on the site and threw together a better config:

Benchmark says i3 is better by a bit

Thats on the CPU side, not GPU. A good GPU is also required for gaming, not only cpu. Only game i could think of that would most likley run better on the i3 is minecraft, as it isnt gpu intesive and more cpu intesive.

Would the i3 be better if I got a gpu like a 1060
