Ok so my recently bought VE278 monitor just shipped to my house from newegg, and I assembled it all together. As I was poking around I realized that there was a lack of a dual link dvi connection. The connections go as follows, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, and VGA. The cables that shipped were a VGA to VGA, and a HDMI to DVI, as HDMI will not let me take advatange of the 144hz refresh rate of the monitor, and VGA shouldn't even be mentioned, I don't see how I can achieve the 144hz refresh rate for the monitor. Is the HDMI to DVI really capable of doing that? Sorry if the answer is so obvious, but I just need some light on this before I decide to keep it or ship it back. Thanks, and any help is appreciated.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236295 Link to the one I purchased, doesn't say that it is 144hz on newegg for some reason, even though when I bought it, it did say, and the monitor came with a 144hz sticker, so a misunderstanding? I may have to ship it back if this is the case.
